Buffalo Chicken Dip

We love buffalo chicken flavored everything in our house! I one time accidentally made buffalo chicken completely with hot sauce. I should have known my mistake when my eyes were watering while it was cooking on the stove, but it wasn’t until my husband and I were sweating two minutes into eating dinner that I realized something was wrong. Sure enough when I opened the refrigerator the bottle of buffalo wing sauce was sitting unopened next to an almost empty bottle of hot sauce. It was a painful dinner. We still ate it… with a lot of ranch!

This dip is delicious and super easy, plus it will feed a crowd. It’s the perfect easy appetizer for your football party!

All you need to do is combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Don’t have a crock pot? Cook on the stove on medium-low heat and stir often until warmed through and combined well.

I prefer to get the pre-made rotisserie chicken for the dip. Just remove the skin, pull all the meat off the chicken and chop it up before you throw it in.


After the dip has been cooking in the crock pot give it a good stir and it’s ready to serve! I like to leave it in the crock pot on warm. Serve with your favorite chips and/or vegetables!


Buffalo Chicken Dip

Serves: 10-12

  • 1 rotisserie chicken- skin removed and chicken diced
  • 2 8oz pkgs of cream cheese
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce


  1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low for 2-3 hours. If you don’t have a crock pot you can cook on the stove until all ingredients are warmed through and combined.
  2. Serve with chips and/or vegetables.
  3. Enjoy!
