This recipe for Kale Lemonade is delicious, refreshing and has a few servings of greens in it! Fresh, clean produce and a juicer is all you need! If you don’t have a juicer, there is another way. Blend the ingredients together and strain it through cheese cloth, but it may not be the same.

Add the produce into the juicer in the order listed in the recipe and that’s it! The greens go in first so the juice from the fruit can flush it all out.

If you are new to juicing or are interested in starting, this juicer is the one we have been using and we love it. It’s simple to clean as well. It seems the only benefit of one that doesn’t have plastic pieces is that there is less staining over time. Also, it’s recommended to drink juice first thing in the morning or 2+ hours after eating so you can absorb as much as possible!

Delicious and refreshing Kale Lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 kale leaves
  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • 2 small apples or 1 large apple, cored
  • 1 lemon, quartered

Directions

  1. Clean and prep all produce.
  2. Feed through juicer in order listed above.
  3. Stir well and enjoy! Best if consumed right after preparing.
